On the evening of May 10, the highlight match of the second round of the 2026 "Gan-Chao" League between Ganzhou and Shangrao commenced with great enthusiasm at the Ganzhou National Fitness Center. Prior to the match, the large-scale cheerleading performance titled "Heart Joy in Rongjiang," meticulously choreographed by the director team from Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, made a stunning debut, instantly igniting the passion of the 40,633 spectators and becoming a standout feature of the event.
This performance was centered around the Olympic cheerleading team from Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, featuring a large-scale cast. The event collaborated with six primary schools in Rongjiang New Area, bringing together 240 elementary students and over a hundred teachers—a total of nearly 400 participants—who jointly showcased youthful energy and vitality.
Faced with the challenges of coordinating and rehearsing large-scale collective performances, our school's director team closely adhered to the cultural characteristics and spiritual essence of Rongjiang New Area, meticulously refining every detail of the production to high standards. The movement designs integrated regional features with the charm of cheerleading, while the flower ball props embodied an uplifting athletic spirit, achieving a harmonious unity between visual presentation and spiritual expression.
To deliver a flawless performance, the participating teachers and students voluntarily gave up their May Day holiday and weekend rest periods, sacrificing personal leisure time to devote themselves entirely to the program's joint rehearsals. From meticulous refinement of individual movements to precise coordination of overall formations, from seamless synchronization of rhythm and cadence to continuous enhancement of stage expressiveness, all participants persevered undeterred by fatigue, striving for perfection through nearly ten intensive joint rehearsals—all aimed at presenting their best on stage.
The program innovatively blended elements of flower ball, street dance cheerleading, and trampoline, combining strength with agility while blending childlike innocence with power. During the performance, the Olympic cheerleading team from Jiangxi University of Science and Technology executed aerial flips and synchronized movements with precision, vividly showcasing youthful passion and exceptional teamwork.
