On April 18,2026, the 2026 "Youth Cup" University Student Badminton Challenge concluded successfully. The event attracted 90 university teams from Thailand and 12 provinces and municipalities in China—including Beijing, Chongqing, Macao, Guangdong, Anhui, Hubei, Shaanxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Jiangxi—resulting in exceptionally fierce competition. Students from the School of Physical Education and Arts at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology demonstrated remarkable dedication and stood out, achieving outstanding results.

The specific award winners are as follows: Men's Doubles Champion: Zhang Shikun and Li Bin; Mixed Doubles Fourth Place: Dai Mengying and Yi Zhixiang.

These remarkable achievements marked a historic breakthrough for our university in this tier of competitions. Such success was attributable to the school's high prioritization and comprehensive planning for sports events, with full support provided in training coordination, event organization, and logistical services, enabling participants to focus on preparation and competition effectively. Full-time faculty member Liu Junyi, operating from the front lines of teaching, oversaw the team's daily training and pre-competition preparations, meticulously designing training plans and refining technical and tactical strategies. His solid professional expertise and dedicated approach significantly enhanced the team's competitive performance, laying a solid foundation for these groundbreaking results.

On the competition field, our university's students fearlessly faced strong opponents, worked together in unity, and strove for excellence, fully demonstrating the vibrant spirit of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology's young students—marked by their upward striving, pursuit of perfection, and relentless drive for progress.
