On May 18th, the 19th "Sanhao Cup" Football Match of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology concluded successfully amid the eager anticipation of the entire school faculty and students. After 36 days of intense competition, representative teams from various colleges showcased their youthful demeanor through tenacious efforts. Ultimately, the team from the School of Physical Education and Art emerged victorious, claiming the championship of this year's tournament.
Since its opening on April 12th, the competition has received active responses from all colleges across the university, with a total of 9 teams participating. The tournament adopted a hybrid format combining group round-robin matches, playoff games, and knockout rounds. On the green pitch, teams sweated profusely, collaborated tacitly, and demonstrated superb skills and tenacious sportsmanship. Players' precise passes, agile dribbles, and valiant saves on the field won continuous applause from the audience. Off the field, cheering squads from each college chanted in unison, creating a lively campus sports atmosphere.
The final match took place on the afternoon of May 18th at the Sanjiang Campus Stadium, featuring a showdown between the Electrical and Physical Sciences Joint Team and the School of Physical Education and Art Football Team. The players from both sides engaged in a fierce battle with rapid transitions between offense and defense. In the first half, the School of Physical Education and Art Football Team took the lead with a 精妙 (exquisite) team collaboration that led to a goal. In the second half, the rivalry intensified, and the School of Physical Education and Art Football Team promptly adjusted their tactics. Through consecutive offensive pushes, they expanded their lead and ultimately secured a 2-0 victory in the final, clinching the championship. Throughout the match, referees made impartial decisions, and staff provided strong logistical support, ensuring the fairness and professionalism of the tournament.

The School of Physical Education and Art, the Electrical and Physical Sciences Joint Team, and the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering & Construction Joint Team won the first, second, and third prizes respectively, while the Economics, Management and Law Joint Team received the Sportsmanship Award. This competition was jointly hosted by the University Youth League Committee and the School of Physical Education and Art, and co-organized by the University Student Sports Association, with strong support from various colleges and relevant departments. The successful holding of the tournament has not only enriched campus cultural life but also further promoted the development of the school's sunny sports initiatives. It is reported that Jiangxi University of Science and Technology will continue to deepen sports education reforms, providing more platforms for students to showcase themselves and build physical strength, and contributing to the educational goal of cultivating well-rounded individuals in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor.
