Our college carries out the theme education of academic ethics and scientific research integrity

On the afternoon of April 9th, our college carried out the theme education of academic ethics and scientific research integrity in the conference room 301 of Sports Art Building. All the members of the leading group of the college and the faculty of the whole hospital attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Huang Lina, vice president of the College.

During the activity, Zhou Shiqi, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, gave a lecture on scientific research integrity. In the lecture, he explained what scientific research integrity is, introduced the code of conduct for scientific research integrity, explained academic misconduct with a large number of cases, and introduced in detail the norms for the use of project funds. He pointed out that scientific research integrity is an important guarantee for scientific research work in colleges and universities. Dishonesty in scientific research and academic misconduct deviate from the scientific spirit of seeking truth from facts, seriously dampen the innovation enthusiasm of scientific researchers, damage the academic ecological environment of schools and colleges, and affect the healthy development of scientific undertakings. Finally, I call on all teachers to start from me and start from small things.

Academic ethics and scientific research integrity have a long way to go. The College will continue to strengthen the construction of scientific research integrity culture and strengthen scientific research supervision and management. At the same time, in the future, we will hold activities related to scientific research integrity education from time to time, and guide the faculty and staff of the whole hospital to keep in mind the initial mission of "educating people for the party and the country", abide by the scientific ethics, abide by the norms of scientific research activities, and strive to be "four haves" good teachers in the new era.
