The College of Physical Education and Art, founded in 2023, currently has departments of Physical Education and aesthetic Education, including Social sports teaching and research section, public sports basic courses teaching and research section, sports experiment Center, aesthetic Education teaching and research section, offering social sports guidance and management undergraduate majors, with more than 300 students.

The major of Social Sports Guidance and Management began to enroll students in 2002, and from June 2023, it was transferred from the College of Science to the College of Sports and Arts. After 21 years of development, through multi-level and all-round teaching exploration and continuous reform, it has formed a new mode of training social sports professionals, which is "red casting soul, three functions enabling, four double driving". The aesthetic Education Teaching and Research Department covers literature, music, dance, drama, film and television, fine arts, photography, etc. While improving students' aesthetic ability and humanistic quality, it pays attention to the creation of campus art atmosphere, actively provides students with rich artistic experience platform, and promotes students' all-round development.

The college has an aggressive and virtuous teaching staff, with 38 staff members, 16 professors and associate professors, 3 teachers with doctoral degrees, 6 doctoral candidates, and 1 provincial gold medal young teacher. In the process of personnel training, the college pays attention to consolidating the foundation, teaching students according to their aptitude, and training by different levels, and has achieved good results. More than 40 national first prizes have been won in aerobics competitions. The employment rate of students has reached 90% in the past three years, and the enrollment rate of students has increased year by year.
